I had two split units - Daikin - installed on 1st September 2026. Damian, Jamie & Dan arrived around 9am . They surveyed the installation areas - lounge and conservatory - and then proceeded with the installation first laying dust sheet etc. They hoovered up as they went and were very clean and professional in the way they worked. They liaised with me regularly to ensure I was happy with the positioning etc and the whole job was wrapped up by mid afternoon. I was very impressed and will be using them for the annual maintenance visits. In my view they are exceptional and gladly recommend them to anyone considering air conditioning.Anthony Coleman

This is our second unit we have had installed by Northants Aircon, Damien came out to quote and went through all of the scenarios and best option for our home. Jamie and Dan did the installation for us and have done a great job! Clean and tidy inside and out, nothing was too much trouble and they checked in and provided me good updates on their progress and made adjustments to fit the install as required. They also carried out the service on our existing unit saving another call out. Big thank you to all of the team.

When my portable Air Conditioning unit was not enough during the multiple heatwaves of 2026 I finally decided enough was enough. Honestly I clicked the first result in a google search and Northants Refrigeration and Air Conditioning came up. Seeing they are a Diamond partner with Mitsubishi was enough convincing I needed to give them a call. They came out and quoted me within 2 weeks and managed to do the install within 2 months of the initial call. This astounded me as I was expecting to wait 6+ months (due to heatwave demand). The gentleman who quoted me talked me through different brands and locations as well as making sure that I was not going overboard. The installers arrived first thing on the installation day and did a phenomenal job. They were very clean and respectful. Once everything was installed I got a demo and best use advice (during which I almost grabbed a jumper!). The units are very quiet and have kept the house at a comfortable temperature ever since. I would recommend to anyone and everyone to use this service. I’ve already recommended my own Mother and my work colleagues (all of whom work from home). Looking forward to many years of a comfortable temperature!

I've had two domestic units running almost continuously since installation on 1st July. Install guys did a great job, knew what they were doing and communicated that with me, placement, connections etc all explained and checked with me as they went along. They made the recent double glazing fitters look like dunces in comparison - this is how work should be done. Justin provided a quote in a few minutes, no BS or "ringing the manager" for a one off deal or hanging round like a bad smell to seal a rip off deal. I chose this company because of their experience and recognition by major ac unit providers - this was apparent and justified in their work. Avoiding recent outfits who have moved to ac from gardening or car washing means all the teething problems that lack of experience and training bring are not landed on the customer.I have a perfectly cool house, the units are virtually free to run off the solar panels - they use very little electricity anyway. Can't comment on the heating performance as yet though. Only problem is that my two Wolfdogs are now ac junkies- sneaking off to enjoy cool air whenever they can!Very happy customer - at a total cost less than I was quoted for two external blinds this a a no brainer - expectations met and exceeded. Highly recommended !!

Jamie and Toby installed 2 units in our home yesterday and we are delighted with the results. From first contact through the quotation, ordering and installation, Northants Refrigeration were friendly, professional and efficient. Jamie and Toby installed the units neatly with no internal trunking. Jamie even had a decent playlist on his speaker. Definitely recommended and will use again.

I had a bit of leak earlier with my air con unit , I called them at 2pm I spoke with Linda , who was absolutely fantastic she advised that she would try and get somebody out as soon as possible , less than an hour later Damian turned up and he was fantastic , identified the problem within 5 minutes, his knowledge was extremely impressive but more than that he was a pleasure to deal with , problem was solved within 30 minutes , an absolute pleasure of a company to deal with

I had Simon come out yesterday on the 7th July to install a 4.2kw unit in my living room.Very professional and polite man. Incredibly skilled at what he does. The installation itself is neat, tidy and professional looking. No mess was left behind.The unit runs like a dream and my dogs are much happier for it.....as am I!No issues in recommending this company to others.

We had 2 aircon units installed two days ago. The two guys (Cameron and Paul) did an excellent job. There were a couple of options regarding cable and trunking routes and we were consulted each time. What little mess was created was cleared by them and there was no damage which required any redecoration. Excellent job all round, thank you.

We had an engineer attend our home yesterday. We have an Air Con system brilliantly fitted by you. Our annual service wasn't due until the Autumn. We had 2 visits by an engineer who came early to check on the issue then at the end of his day to fix the issue. Absolutely brilliant guy. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Had my air con installed this week. This company was recommended to me but I made the decision to choose them based on a very positive quote visit experience by Damian. So following the recent heatwave finally made the decision that aircon was a must and not a luxury. Problem, how to sort out a reputable and established company. Thanks to research of Google reviews I selected three companies all of whom came out to quote. The most informative and professional of the three was Damien from Northants Refrigeration. No sales pitch just straightforward honest advice, he was great and answered all my questions and then some. I was so impressed that I signed up there and then and to be fair the price was competitive. I also appreciated that was no request for up front payment or deposit unlike other companies I looked at.I received a call from the Head Office later that afternoon conforming my install and giving me a date in August 2026 with a promise that if there was a cancellation I may be bumped up the queue. Imagine my delight to receive another call later that afternoon from Damien asking me as as some of the fitters had completed a job a day early they could fit me in the following day.The fitting-: The two fitters Toby & Paul arrived bang on time and set to work, no dramas no, fuss clearly two skilled people who knew what they were doing, very polite and professional. Result complete install done, no mess to clear up as everywhere was left spotless. Final demonstration as to how it all worked and that was it.Overall experience warranted a five star rating and I have no hesitation recommending Northants Refrigeration.

First class customer experience during the whole process from Justin quoting; Diana answering our questions and the two engineers installing a Deakin AC unit in our bedroom. Very happy with our installation by Damian and Jamie today - due to the location and piping needed to locate the outdoor units where I wanted them it was an all day installation but both were friendly and chatty and tidied up after themselves. It poured with rain for the first two hours which wasn’t ideal but they carried on even when I would have expected them to stop for a break during the worst of the weather. Kept me informed throughout and had a good demo of the functions on the units at the end. We got a recommendation from a friend and I’ve already recommended them to a family member and will be using them to service our business units in the future now I know they also do commercial work.

We just wanted to send a quick email to say how happy we were with the fitting our Air Conditioning units. The amount of care and consideration that was given to our home (which had recently just been rendered) to make sure that no damage was done was exemplarily.

The house was left clean and we were given a full explanation of how the units worked once they were finished. We recently had a lot of work completed on the house, which has been extremely stressful and it's honestly such a pleasure to have workmen in the house who are both professional and respectful. Kelly kindly organised all the details our business required before we could proceed with the installs. Simon and team expertly installed 5 units, and 2 new condensers across our offices. Not only working around I.T equipment but staff as well. They liaised with our electrician on exactly what was required so I didn't have to worry about that. All the team were happy to answer any questions I had during install. Look forward to working with Northants Refrigeration in to the future with servicing for our units.

I called Damian this morning after someone else had serviced my domestic units about 4 weeks ago and failed to spot bodged condensation hose connections on 2 distribution units in the loft - 1 of which failed Monday night, resulting in water damage to the bedroom ceiling and wall. Damian actually arrived on site less than 30 minutes after I called and replaced the faulty parts with correct fittings he had with him. Brilliant service, advice and workmanship. Will definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

Excellent service from the team. - Reported a non urgent fault by email Saturday - team contact me by phone 8:50am on Monday - engineers arrived at lunch time same day to assess and take equipment back to workshop - quoted for fix cost same day - repaired, returned, refitted and tested by mid afternoon on Tuesday Prompt, efficient and courteous. Great installation today of our aircon unit by Simon and Toby. They were very polite and left our home clean and tidy. Just wanted to leave a quick review following amazing service today with a domestic breakdown. We had 2 units installed by Northants Aircon in October ‘23 and this morning (on the hottest week of the year, and on a Friday!) one of them failed. I called the office @ 9.15am and by 2.15pm an engineer arrived. After all the checks it turned out to be a faulty pump and in just over an hour it was replaced under warranty and we were fully operational again. Thank you to Damian for his service, and to the office team for Co-ordinating the call out. We really appreciate it 👍

Jamie installed an air conditioning unit within our converted garage, he was really great advising us about placement and did the job efficiently. He was kind enough to spend some time explaining how to use and maintain it and I’m really pleased with job. A professional approach from the survey through to finish. Great experience with the team, we have a baby and two indoor cats plus it rained all day so not an easy installation. They worked around her naps and made sure our cats were inside safely (with lots of welcome strokes!). We had a system installed by NRAC around 8 years and having recently moved, we wanted a system for our new house. From the first contact through to install I was 100% impressed and satisfied with the service. We’ve had air conditioning before, in a previous home and I did quite a lot of research before deciding to go with Northants Refrigeration. The reason I chose them is because of their experience over the years, fair and honest pricing, use of Mitsubishi units and excellent thorough quotation service. Jamie, Joe and Paul fitted our units yesterday and did such an excellent job. They perfectly installed the units inside and out, leaving them looking beautifully well aligned and tidy outside. They tidied and hoovered up after themselves, when finished and gave thorough verbal instructions on how to operate the systems and left me with a manual. What was most appreciated was how respectful and polite they were, taking off their boots each time they came in and even asking to use the loo! I would really recommend this company, as there are a lot of others out there charging a lot more and who aren’t properly trained!

Had my air-con unit serviced today by Joe. Joe arrived on time, was very polite and courteous and neat and tidy. He even wore overshoe booties when inside the house. I was fully updated at the end of the service, given the appropriate paperwork (copy of the service report and a copy of the invoice). All done within an hour. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Within 3 weeks of Justin providing the quotation the new air conditioning units were installed in our home within 3 weeks which was in time for the weather getting hotter. Damian & Tom installed my AC units they were really fun to be around for the day and it is clear to see they have a very good working relationship and get job satisfaction. They were both friendly, professional, and very tidy. My husband had an accident and had hurt his back so they even helped me put my furniture back into place! I wish my husband and I had made the move sooner in terms of getting AC installed years before. Absolutely amazing Damien and one other guy I’m so sorry can’t remember his name we’re fantastic. They were early fab! They were extremely clean which saved me a job and the install was perfect. Highly recommend. The systems themselves are not noisy and very economical to run. The guys helped me to move stuff I couldn’t do on my own and put everything back I place the banter came free and they made theirselves at home I felt very comfortable with the guy and they kept me entertained lol the transaction was smooth and the communication from the office side was very quick 5 plus stars ⭐️

We had been thinking about having air-con in our bedroom, and a reference from a friend put us on to Northants Refrigeration. It was a good decision. Damian & Jamie arrived on time, did a great job & cleaned up any mess before they left. We are thrilled with the result. They are professional & competitively priced.

I called for a quote and Justin came round, he didn’t try to sell to me, simply gave me the quote, I accepted on the spot and he booked installation date for me, then I changed my mind and asked for two single spilt units instead of one, easily added by Kelly. Installation day Damien & Joe turned up, friendly and cracked on with the job straight away, obvious to see they know exactly what they are doing, I popped out to the shops as instantly knew I could trust them. After everything was installed I was shown simple demo on how to operate and they hoovered up any dust etc. I would have no hesitation recommending this company to family and friends, in fact a work colleague today asked me how things went and after listening he said, he will be using same company. Just want to say a belated big 'Thank You' to Tom and Jamie for the 1st class job they did in installing air conditioning units in my Park Home in May. They were very professional, just got on with the job and explained each step of the installation as they went along, then went through the functions of the remote to make sure I understood how to use it. And best of all, every bit of packaging was taken away, to mess whatsoever left behind - Thanks Guys! PS - The aircon has been a godsend during this recent heatwave!

A great service from start to finish. Quick to undertake a domestic visit to quote. Helpful advice and fitted within a couple of weeks for two units. Fitting engineers were clean with their install and kept noise to a minimum, and kept me informed throughout installation on progress. A fantastic installation by Damien and Joe, a very challenging install due to height into our master bedroom on the third floor, both engineers work was tidy and considerate. All services required were neatly run external to the property in Black Trunking, using galvanised wall brackets for external inverter is a nice touch too.

My engineers were Damien and Tom. There going to get an outstanding review from me so there names are correct and not Harry and Paul!!!! Tee hee. I have always wanted a real air conditioning unit for my bedroom but was worried I would get involved with the wrong company so always held back untill I saw a house in my village with Mitsubishi air con units outside. I felt I must be cheeky and knocked there door for some advice. The owner was so nice and helpful and told me all I wanted to hear. (Thankyou ) and put me directly in touch with northants refridgeration. That day Justin came to see me left me with a quote and I excepted within wks Damien and Tom were here to instal all. They were so polite respectful and so very approachable I felt I could ask questions once everything was installed and nothing was too much trouble for them!!! Thankfully the weather.held and the job was completed in no time. Thankyou guys vvvv much. They even brought there own hoovers. Such a good job and company. I hope in the future should I need them again I will get the same outstanding service.

Having researched for Air-conditioning to be fitted into our garden office and after reading the previous reviews we decided to contact Northampton Refridgeration and Air Conditioning. The engineer arrived at the time and date as confirmed prior, he was very polite and informative without any hard sale.After his departure we placed a confirmed order by email. To our surprise we were contacted the same day to inform us that installation could take place within the week! Got quotes from more than one company but was impressed how quickly Justin got back to me and came to price the installation. Fitters arrived on time and were professional, face masks and boot coverings all used. Air con unit unobtrusive and very quiet. Am using it for heating now and, from regular checks with my Smart Meter, I can already see significant savings as opposed to using my normal central heating. Air con also works very effectively. So pleased that I requested a second unit straight away and the lovely chaps are fitting it now. Again, on time and professional. Am very pleased and would recommend this firm.

We have just had two Mitsubishi A/C / heat Pumps installed by Northants Refrigeration. The guys turned up on-site exactly on-time, in fact one of them was early, and kept us informed all the way through the installation. As this was our first AC units installed here the guys gave both myself and my elderly mother full training on how to use it and what all the settings do.I have worked in and around large machine installs for a long time, the work carried out is to a very high standard and looks neat and tidy.What is more the bill was exactly as they had quoted, also gave us all the information on annual servicing and made sure we knew exactly where to call if there are any issues. How refreshing to deal with a company who pride themselves on the work.

Cannot fault this fantastic company, a great initial install and although there were some issues with a unit, the professionalism and contact has been second to none, nothing has been too much trouble and they are going out of their way to resolve the issue, highly recommended to anyone considering Air Conditioning, a true breath of fresh air (scuse the pun) Damian has been a great ambassador for the company.

FANTASTIC SERVICE.We originally had 4 quotations from 4 local based companies. Northants were by far the most helpful. The guy who quoted for us (Jason I believe) came with a unit to show us and explained all of our options in great detail. He answered every question and could not have been nicer. We decided to go with Northants as their quotation was the cheapest.When it came to fitting the units, the installation team turned up on time. They introduced themselves then started with their dust sheets. Lovely to see as other tradesmen just don’t bother.They installed 4 units for us. To say I am impressed is an understatement. The whole process from quotation through to install has been fantastic. After receiving a number of prices for the works NR&AC were more competitive than all the competition in the local area. The workmanship and product quality were high, all holes, pipework and cabling were very tidy fixed horizontally and vertically in all aspects sealed and waterproofed with impressive performance from the AC cooling and heating and a very detailed presentation and walk through of all the functionality of the systems and the end of the installation. Finally all furniture moved for access was returned to its original position, hoovered and all packaging and material wastage removed for recycling. We’ve had our air con installed for just over a month now - the installation was quick and clean. The guys were professional and courteous (especially with our very nosey kids!!) and explained the useage instructions well. The unit is in our bedroom - but easily cools the majority of our upstairs bedrooms if our door is left open.

Really impressed with our annual air con service. Joe arrived on time, completed the service and was really considerate of social distancing. It was no trouble at all to get booked in and seen quickly. Our air con is now running smoothly to keep our conservatory cool while we’re working from home. Thanks for a great job!

I have used Northants Refrigeration & Air Conditioning on two occasions now for the installation of air conditioning in my home. On the first occasion we were undertaking major renovation and they installed a ceiling mounted unit in or master bedroom. I was very happy with the work carried out, the professional service and the great value for money.About a year after the house was finished and we moved back in, it became clear that in the summer modern insulation can trap heat - so we needed more air conditioning in the other upstairs bedrooms and the lounge/kitchen/dining room area (it's open plan). Again I contacted Northants Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and they were able to respond quickly, come out and install a further three units. Once again they were very professional in their approach and in fact went above and beyond in order to get some of the pipework through a very tricky route.I can't speak highly enough of them, first class service, professional approach and very good value for money. Absolutely amazing! Justin and his team installed our air conditioning two weeks ago. It has to be said, it is the Best Buy this summer, and any other summer for that matter. Today my sons bedroom was at 32 degrees and our own room was at 28 degrees. Shortly after turning the air conditioning on the temperature came down to 20. � I love the fact that I can now control the temperature in my house for both hot and cold rather than just hot. Had mine fitted today very quick and tidy. The guys are friendly and efficient. The unit looks great doesn't take up much room and it works great. I'm diabetic and in the heat I really struggle to control my blood sugar levels so this is a health benefit for me. And a big plus it's energy efficient and heats my home too.

I just have to say a HUGE thank you to Justin and Damien. On Saturday, my disabled daughter was very ill, with a bedroom that was staying at a steady 28 degrees. Even running a large Dyson fan + a small one beside her bed, we could not get the room cool. Our mobile air conditioner was useless. We contacted Northants Air Conditioning and Justin visited yesterday, quoted, we accepted immediately. We expected to wait and presumed it could be a while. There are still people with huge hearts - we have found a company with staff+ big hearts! Today, our daughter's room is at a steady 22 degrees, with a whisper- quiet unit inside and an equally quite one outside, taking the hot air away.
